MBD Books celebrates Teacher’s Day with Zeal

Ludhiana, September 5, 2021: MBD Group organised Teacher’s Day celebrations at Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Chandigarh. In Ludhiana and Jalandhar, the events were organised at MBD Neopolis Malls, whereas, in Chandigarh, MBD group celebrated Teacher’s Day at Hotel Park View. The celebration involved a variety of fun activities for children and an interactive Teacher—Student bonding session. Teachers from various CBSE schools in these cities were invited and the celebration was focussed on their experiences. Teachers showcased their talent and were rewarded with attractive prizes and they also shared their best moments and motivated students to study well.
 
Teachers present at the event expressed their appreciation for the initiative taken by the team at MBD; as they rarely get platforms like these to have fun and express themselves. Teachers were given gifts from Cafe Delish restaurant, Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana and The Chocolate Box and Lounge at MBD Neopolis mall, Books and E-vouchers by MBD as a token of appreciation. Several retailer outlets operating from the Neopolis Malls also gave vouchers and gifts to the participating teachers.
 
During the event, MBD Group showcased their learning app, AASOKA. This app provides a host of features including a large repository of videos, animations and assessments for students. The adaptive testing platform in Aasoka is supported by AI algorithms that helps improve student performance and suggest remedial solutions to aid learning.
 
Another product showcased here was ALTS (Aasoka Learning and Teaching Solutions). This is a cloud-based end-to-end solution for schools catering to all teaching-learning and administrative needs of schools. This also enables teachers to conduct live classes, create their own content and questions, schedule assessments, share assignments, holiday homework and worksheets with students in a real time scenario. MBD Sure Shot Question Bank for Classes 10 and 12 (Term 1) was also showcased at the event. This series of books has been created strictly according to the revised syllabus released by CBSE in July 21 and is available for Science, Mathematics, Social Science, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History, Geography and Political Science. Highlights of the book include, Chapter-wise flow chart and summary, QR codes for easy access to concept videos/animations, large number of MCQs with solutions/explanations, Assertion-Reason type questions with answers case-based questions. This also offers Free online practice tests with Aasoka app.
