MBD Group celebrates 9th Founder’s Day with full vigor

Ludhiana, July 10, 2019: MBD Group, the leading education company in India with large diversified operations in hospitality and retail developments celebrated its 9th Founder’s Day and commemorated the 74th birth anniversary of their founding father Sh.Ashok Malhotra whose vision and thought laid a strong foundation of the company’s bright and prosperous future and has resulted in the shining edifice that MBD Group is today. Shri Ashok Malhotra has always been an exemplar for business and society and the Group’s success can be attributed to his undying spirit of hard-work & innovation. Each year on 10th July, the MBDians re-instate the promise to pursue his vision and values and celebrate the Founder’s Day with full enthusiasm & grandeur. Every year, The Founder’s Day celebration has a theme associated to it and this year’s theme was “Touching Lives” as the Founder always believed in people-centric growth and upliftment of the less privileged. He was a visionary who always strived to build a better society and making difference in the lives of the people by bringing positive changes in their lives. On this occasion, the entire family and team members of the MBD Group paid rich tribute to Sh. Ashok Malhotra and remembered his contribution in making MBD Group a success. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Shri. C.P. Singh Cabinet Minister- Urban Development, Housing and Transport- Govt. of Jharkhand and along with other dignitaries such as Shri B.N. Singh District Magistrate- Gautam Budha Nagar, RSS, Guest of Honor, Congo First Secretary, Russia First Secretary, Nigeria Deputy Head of Mission, Shri BK Gupta, Ex Commissioner Delhi Police, Ms. Amanpreet Kaur DC IT Delhi , Shri SN Agarwal Retd -Judge - Punjab Haryana High Court The event commenced with the Chairperson, Mrs. Satish Bala Malhotra, paying an emotional tribute to Malhotra Ji and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The event was celebrated with full vigor and witnessed the gala cultural event featuring dance performances, scholarships & awards distribution and speeches. On this occasion, Mrs. Satish Bala Malhotra, Chairperson, MBD Group said, “Sh. Ashok Malhotra Ji was an exceptional leader whose foresightedness and determination will continue to aspire us.
