MC Elections- First randomization of polling personnel held
The district administration conducted the randomization of polling staff for the upcoming Ludhiana Municipal Corporation and various Municipal Councils' elections at the district administrative complex on Wednesday. This process took place in the presence of District Election Officer Jitendra Jorwal in the NIC office using dedicated software.

This process took place in the presence of District Election Officer Jitendra Jorwal in the NIC office using dedicated software.
The goal was to classify over 8,700 state government employees who have been assigned various duties during the elections. The randomization adheres to guidelines designed to ensure fairness and impartiality in the selection of polling staff. This randomization is intended to assign duties for the polling scheduled for December 21. Adequate personnel will also be deployed for counting on the same day.
Jorwal emphasized that the district administration is committed to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free election process on December 21. He stated that elaborate arrangements have been made to facilitate this effort.
Every measure will be taken to guarantee a free and fair election for the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (which has 95 wards) and the Municipal Councils, including Machhiwara (15 wards), Malaud (11 wards), Sahnewal (15 wards), Mullanpur Dakha (13 wards), Khanna (1 ward), and Samrala (1 ward).
