Ludhiana, September 28, 2012: A massive gathering was held under the leadership of Daljit Singh Grewal (Bhola), municipal councillor from ward No. 8, to pay homage to the great martyr Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary today. Speaking on the occasion, Grewal asked people to strictly follow philosophy of the martyrs to maintain Independence of the country. He said they were enjoying freedom only because of sacrifices made by the martyrs.
Further, he called upon the youths to stop indulging into takings drugs and become a good citizen. He said this would be the true homage to the martyrs.
Among others, municipal councillor, Jasvir Singh Jassa was present.
