The entrusted company will also start online registration and booking service for providing better slaughtering services

MC Ludhiana signs agreement with Noida-based company to operationalise modern slaughter house 

Ludhiana: Municipal Corporation (MC) Ludhiana on Tuesday, signed an agreement with Noida-based Micro Transmission Systems company to run the Modern Slaughter House here. The agreement was signed between MC Joint Commissioner Swati Tiwana and Company’s partner Manoj Jha.

Divulging the details, Joint Commissioner Swati Tiwana said that the entrusted company, which will start slaughtering operations in January 2021 will ensure to provide fresh and hygienic meat to the residents. 

She explained that under this project the manual slaughter will be replaced by the automation and the company will deliver the meat to over 500 meat shops. She said that Air-conditioned (AC) fitted reefer vans will be used to deliver the meat at shops.
Tiwana said that different modern slaughtering halls have been established and separate skilled workers were hired to perform “Jhatka” or “Halal” slaughtering.

She said that slaughter of as many as 16000 poultry birds can be processed in a single shift, besides the Modern Slaughtering house also has provision of cold chain chillers to preserve the poultry meat. She added that different machinery has been installed for the slaughtering of pigs.

Meanwhile, the entrusted company will also start online registration and booking service for providing better slaughtering services.
