MC organises mega camp under 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' as PM Modi addresses beneficiaries under different govt schemes
Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi addressed beneficiaries in different states of the country under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Wednesday. In this course, Municipal Corporation (MC) organised a mega camp under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Jawahar Nagar camp area.
Ludhiana, December 27, 2023: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi addressed beneficiaries in different states of the country under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Wednesday. In this course, Municipal Corporation (MC) organised a mega camp under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Jawahar Nagar camp area.
During the event PM Modi not only addressed the beneficiaries, but also interacted with the beneficiaries from a few states including Rajasthan, Uttarakhand etc.
PM Modi also appealed the residents to avail as much benefit of the government schemes including PM SVAnidhi scheme, Ayushman card, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala scheme etc.
A large number of beneficiaries and residents participated in the mega camp organised in the city. Display screens were also installed during the camp which was organised on the directions of MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi.
MC Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rupinder Pal Singh, MC Joint Commissioner Kulpreet Singh, Zonal Commissioner Jasdev Singh Sekhon among others were also present during the event. Former Cabinet minister Sunder Sham Arora, District BJP President Rajnish Dhiman among others were also present on the occasion.
The civic body officials stated that during the mega camp, the MC teams also apprised the participants of different government schemes and how they can avail the benefits of the same.
To register eligible residents under different government schemes, regular camps are also being organised in the city under 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'.
Daily morning and evening camps are being organised in different parts of the city and these camps will continue till January 21, 2024. The aim is to register the eligible residents and help them in availing the benefits under different government schemes.
