MCL organizes camp for recovery of property tax/water and sewage bills
An amount of Rs 2.54 lakh of property tax and Rs 1.86 lakh of water/sewage bills were recovered by the MCL during the camp
Ludhiana: On the directions of Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu and MC Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Sabharwal, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana (MCL) on Saturday organized a camp for the recovery of the property tax, water/sewage bills in the office of Councillor Gurpinder Kaur Sandhu.
On this occasion, amount of Rs 2.54 lakh of property tax and Rs 1.86 lakh of water/sewage bills were recovered by the MCL during the camp. The collection amount was deposited to MCL.
Zonal Superintendent Rajiv Bhardwaj said that the people who have earlier no water/sewer connection, also deposited money for legal water/sewer connection. He said that more such camps would be organized in the coming days.
Zonal Commissioner Kulpreet Singh thanked the MC Councillor for her support in the successful organization of the camp and appealed the people to clear their property tax, water/sewage charges to avoid penalty.
