MDU grants approval to startups under the aegis of CIIE
Maharshi Dayanand University under the aegis of its Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) has granted approval for three startups in the food and hospitality sector.
Rohtak, June 3, 2024: Maharshi Dayanand University under the aegis of its Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) has granted approval for three startups in the food and hospitality sector.
MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh today presented the approval letter to the selected start-ups. The approved startups include Food Truck startup by Sahil (a current student of IHTM) & Mandeep (an IHTM alumnus), and Ice Cream & Frozen Desserts startup of IHTM alumnus Digivijay Dalal.
Sahil and Mandeep were present today in the Vice Chancellor’s office for receiving their approval letters.
MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh said that the University is committed to create an entrepreneurial eco-system in the university and support innovation ventures of students and alumni. He congratulated the selected Innovators, and expressed the hope that their entrepreneurial ventures would be trailblazing and provide inspiration to other students as well.
Director, CIIE Prof. Rahul Rishi said that CIIE has invited proposals for startups from the university community. After following a detailed process, these three start-ups have been finally selected.
Notably, Prof. Ashish Dahiya and Prof. Sandeep Malik will mentor those start-up ventures. Director, CIIE Prof. Rahul Rishi will provide necessary technical guidance for the start-ups.
MDU Registrar Prof. Gulshan Lal Taneja present on the occasion extended his best wishes for the startup ventures.
Notably, a dedicated MDU food park will provide space for these two ventures.
