MDU, Rohtak - 276033 students will appear in UG and PG semester exams starting from May 9
Maharshi Dayanand University is all set to conduct Under-graduate (UG) and Post-graduate (PG) semester examinations from May 9. Elaborate arrangements from smooth and fair conduct of these examinations have been made by the university administration.
Rohtak, May 8, 2024: Maharshi Dayanand University is all set to conduct Under-graduate (UG) and Post-graduate (PG) semester examinations from May 9. Elaborate arrangements from smooth and fair conduct of these examinations have been made by the university administration.
Controller of Examinations Prof. Gulshan Lal Taneja informed that 276033 students will appear in the forthcoming examinations. 230 examination centres have been created by the University for the examination(s) which will have 230 Centres Superintendent and 230 Deputy Superintendents to conduct the examinations. One Invigilator will be posted for 30 candidates for these examination(s). About 30 Flying squads will be overseeing the examination process to keep vigil on use of unfair means in the examination. Use of electronic devices will be strictly prohibited during the examination. 7 Nodal Centres have been created by the university to facilitate smooth conduct of examination(s) and evaluation. About 150 observers will be on examination duties to monitor the UG/PG examinations.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh said that the University will take all necessary steps for smooth, fair and efficient conduct of the examination. University has an excellent track-record of timely conduct of examinations and timely declaration of results. This year too, the same efficient practice will be followed to the hilt. He conveyed his good wishes to the students appearing in the examination. He said students must restrain from indulging in copying, or use of any other unfair means in examination. He reiterated the importance of ethical values while appearing in the examination. VC urged upon the faculty members and other officials to ensure fair, transparent, efficient conduct of UG/PG examinations. He appealed to the Principal(s) of affiliated colleges to ensure smooth conduct and facilitate full sanctity of the examination.
Notably UG examinations will be held from May 9 to June 11, PG examination May 9 to June 8, MCA exam from May 9 to June 8, MBA exam from May 9 to July 4, Law exam from May 9 to June 8, Engineering exam from May 11 to June 9, and OT/MIL examination from May 15 to June 1.
