His distinguished career began at the Oberoi School of Hotel Management, which is now known as the Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development (OCLD). In 1977, he joined ITC Welcomgroup of Hotels, where he made significant contributions as the Corporate Chef for ITC Hotels. During his tenure, ITC Hotels embraced the philosophy of celebrating everything Indian, from their names and structures to their cuisine.
