Emerging Shuttlers in action during 4th day of AIU's North Zone Inter University Badminton Tournament being held at LPU Campus.

Jalandhar, November 23, 2018: Continuing their winning spree on the 4th day of North Zone Inter-University Badminton Tournament (Women) 2018, being held at indoor sports complex of Lovely Professional University, Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, Punjabi University Patiala, Panjab University Chandigarh & University of Delhi topped their respective Pool. All of these teams played aggressively from the start of their match and won straight sets.

One of the team managers Dr Neeru Malik, from Panjab University, two of the players Kanika (Kurukshetra University) and Shivpriya (Ashoka University Sonipat) informed unanimously that all arrangements for the tournament are the best and as per the international level. The co-operative endeavours adopted here are indeed to promote sports activities and interests on high level. LPU Sports In-charge Dr V Kaul informed that all players are exhibiting the best of their talent.

As per the schedule of the Association of Indian Universities’ Inter University Sports Board of India, tournament is to conclude on 24th November 2018. The matches are being played on league-cum-knockout basis.

Mahrishi Dayanand University Rohtak defeated Dr Ambedkar University Agra in Pool A

Punjabi University Patiala beat Kurukshetra University in Pool B

Panjab University Chandigarh defeated Ashoka University Sonipat in Pool C

University of Delhi won over HNB University Garhwal in Pool D
