MDU VC Prof. Rajbir Singh calls for multi disciplinary, collaborative research for welfare of mankind

Rohtak, July 4, 2024: Two Day Workshop on ‘Molecular Modelling, Drug Designing and Pre-Clinical Evaluation’ commenced today in Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).
 
This Workshop being organized under the aegis of Centre for Bioinformatics (CBIF) and Centre for Biotechnology (CBT) was inaugurated by MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh.

MDU VC Prof. Rajbir Singh in his inaugural address called for multi disciplinary, collaborative research for welfare of mankind. He underlined the importance of innovation in the realm of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. VC appreciated the initiative of CBIF and CBT for organizing workshop on emerging areas of the subject.

Director, CBIF Dr. Ajit Kumar delivered the Welcome address. Director CBT Dr. Ritu Gill highlighted the scope of the workshop. Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences Prof. Rajesh Dhankar also spoke on the occasion. Vote of Thanks was expressed by Dr. Mehak Dangi. Research Scholar Deeksha conducted the inaugural session.

Dean, R&D Prof. Arun Nanda, Head of Departments of Faculty of Life Sciences, faculty members, research scholars, students were present on the occasion.
