MDU's Vivekananda Library receives ILA-Dr. L.M. Padhye Best University Library Award
MDU's Vivekananda Library has been awarded with the ILA-Dr. L.M. Padhye Best University Library Award 2024 by the Indian Library Association. This prestigious award was given to MDU's Vivekananda Library in the 70th session of the Indian Library Association held at the University of Agricultural Science, Raipur, Karnataka.

Rohtak, March 25, 2025: MDU's Vivekananda Library has been awarded with the ILA-Dr. L.M. Padhye Best University Library Award 2024 by the Indian Library Association. This prestigious award was given to MDU's Vivekananda Library in the 70th session of the Indian Library Association held at the University of Agricultural Science, Raipur, Karnataka.
MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh and Registrar Dr. Krishnakant congratulated University Librarian Dr. Satish Malik for this remarkable achievement. VC Prof. Rajbir Singh said that Vivekananda Library is an excellent library which is renowned throughout the country for its facilities, texts and e-resources.
The Vice Chancellor said that Vivekananda Library is promoting the culture of reading among the students. Vivekananda Library also organizes workshops related to e-resources as well as the popular annual book fair. Librarian Dr. Satish Malik shared the progress journey and future plans of Vivekananda Library with the Vice Chancellor and Registrar.
