`Media Mahakumbh 2022’ to be held in Panchkula on May 28-30

Chandigarh, May 14, 2022: The Samachar Kyari newspaper group will organize the Media Mahakumbh 2022 at the PWD Rest House in Panchkula on 28, 29 and 30 May on the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day. It was announced at a press conference held at Chandigarh Press Club.

Group chairman Rajesh Kumar, while addressing the press conference regarding the 'Media Mahakumbh 2022', said that experts from media world, education, literature, defence services, administration and social work will brainstorm on `Role and contribution of media in nation building’ at the programme. 

`Rashtra Gaurav Award 2022’ will be given to different people for their outstanding contribution in nation building. Talking about the Mahakumbh, he said that three days and two nights accommodation and food has been arranged free of cost for the media persons arriving from across India to attend the event. 

Rajesh Kumar further said that from the freedom struggle till today media has been spreading awareness among the people. We are proud of those media persons who are highlighting the problems of day to day life through their stories by taking high risks. A salute to the media persons who have upkeeping the credibility of the profession.

In the context of 'Media Mahakumbh 2022', he released a list of the 'Rashtra Gaurav Award 2022' recipients. The names include: Amit Azad from Lucknow.
