Meeting held at Invest Punjab: CICU

Ludhiana, July 8, 2024: Meeting was held at Invest Punjab, Udyog Bhawan, Sector 17, Chandigarh.  Sanjeev Arora, MP, DPS Kharbanda, CEO and Director of Industry Invest Punjab, Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Additional Managing Director and Senior Official PSIEC and Industry Department related to PSIEC issues were present.

Sanjeev Arora, Member of Parliament also assured and fixing the meeting with Chief Minister to resolve the industry related issues on top priority. He also assured that he is working on Halwara Airport and he will shortly try to clear the hurdles. 

U.S. Ahuja, President CICU and OP Bassi, President Industrial Association, FP pattern CICU highlighted various points like Clubbing/Bifurcation of Plots, Enhancement of Phase VIII, Unrealised Profit clause from 1975 to 1985, Delegation Power to PSIEC Local Offices, OTS Policy of all charges, Restoration, Plot Cancelation.

PSIEC Official highlight that PSIEC has framed policy and giving presentation to Secretary Industry for approval. Further, it will process approval from concerned Authority.  Most of issues related to PSIEC resolved.

CICU stressed that policy should be framed on top priority. 

U.S. Ahuja, President CICU further mentioned that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann requested to resolve the issues.

Gautam Malhotra, VP CICU,  Honey Sethi, General Secretary, Akashdeep Bassi, Madan Bassi, Prithvi Bassi, MLTPL, Varun Mittal, Gaurav EEPC, Sumit Bajaj, Amit Dua and others were specially present.
