Mega employment fairs to be held in district Ludhiana released

Ludhiana, August 7, 2019: Mega employment fairs are being organized across the state under the 'Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission' launched by the Punjab government in September. With the aim of providing jobs to more and more youth through these job fairs, the unemployed will be given special tips for preparation of interview and biodata, for which the experts of the three firms have been appointed for the district Ludhiana.

While reviewing the arrangements of these fairs, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises Ludhiana, Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that these fairs will be held in Government Senior Secondary School Jagraon on 21 September, At Senior Secondary School (Boys) Payal on 22 September. At Govt Ganga Giri Senior Secondary School Raikot on 26 September, At ITI Samrala on 27 September, At Gulzar Group of Institutions Khanna on 28 September, At CICU complex Focal point Ludhiana on 29 September and at Government ITI Gill Road Ludhiana on 30 September.

Agrawal said that the purpose of these job fairs was to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of District Ludhiana and no qualified candidate will be deprived of taking advantage of this golden opportunity. He said that this time, three professional firms have been selected for district Ludhiana by the Punjab Government to enable the youth to participate in these job fairs. Experts from these firms will train the candidates to appear for an interview, prepare biodata, develop personality, soft skills, life skills and so on.

Agrawal has appealed to all the unemployed youth to get the maximum benefit of these employment fairs so that 'Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission' could be made successful. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Jagraon)-cum-CEO Bureau Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta, Deputy Director Employment Department Meenakshi Sharma, Deputy CEO Navdeep Singh and others were also present.
