Member of PAU’s Board OF Management Hardiyal Singh visits PAU
A member of the Board of Management of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Hardiyal Singh, a progressive farmer from village Gaznipur, district Gurdaspur, visited the Communication Centre and interacted with the officials and the faculty, today.
Ludhiana, May 30, 2022: A member of the Board of Management of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Hardiyal Singh, a progressive farmer from village Gaznipur, district Gurdaspur, visited the Communication Centre and interacted with the officials and the faculty, today.
Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, while welcoming the visiting member, highlighted the remarkable role of PAU in the agricultural development of Punjab. “The University has been striving hard to provide best facilities to the farmers of Punjab at their doorsteps during the corona,” he said, while adding that the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools, launched by the extension wing of PAU, have received an overwhelming response from the farmers. Dr Riar also told him about offline and online sale of farm publications and skill development trainings.
Hardiyal Singh lauded the commendable efforts of PAU and said that the University and farmers shared an exemplary linkage.
Later, Dr Riar presented him a set of PAU publications. Present on the occasion were, Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head, Department of Extension Education and Dr Nirmal Jaura, Associate Director (Public Relations).
