Jalandhar, August 15, 2013: Hind Sewa Samiti (Rashtriya) members today organised a simple function at the Samiti Office here on Thursday, to celebrate Independence Day.
The Samiti chairman Shiv Dyal Chug unfurled the national flag. In his address, he spoke about the importance of the day, and said the independence was achieved after great sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. He asserted that it is the duty of the youths to keep it intact in the future.
The Samiti president Sunil Sharma and others including Rajat Mohindru, and Amit Anand, Vijay Sharma, Pawan Malhan, Shammi Kannaujia, Rajesh Sharma, Manoj Thapar and Congress leader Yash Pahalwan were present.
