Panchkula, October 10: Ratnadevi Rungta and her two sons Sanjay Kumar Rungta and Amitabh Kumar Rungta, both well known social workers, will be the chief guests at the 'Vishal Dussehra Mahotsav' in Panchkula.  The Dussehra Mahotsav  is being jointly organized by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Charitable and Development Trust; Dussehra Committee, Panchkula and Adarsh Ramleela and Dramatic Club, Panchkula. The Dussehra event is set to take place at Shalimar Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula, on October 12, 2024.

While Sanjay Kumar Rungta is Chairman of Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust ; Amitabh Rungta is the Founder of the Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation. Amitabh Rungta has been organising a weekly bhandara in Panchkula for the last many years apart from conducting a number of  philanthropic initiatives regularly. 

Commenting on the  invitation to him and his family members to  grace the occasion as chief guests , Amitabh Rungta expressed his gratitude, stating, “It is an immense honor for our family's members, who have been conducting  a number of socially beneficial activities, to be invited as the chief guests on this auspicious occasion. Dussehra is a powerful reminder of the enduring strength of good over evil. It’s a time for reflection and encourages us to uphold the values of love, integrity, and unity in our lives.”
