Jalandhar, May 17, 2022: The students of Grades VII to X were sensitized about the growing criminal activities in the society by the members of Saanjh Kendra at Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town and Royal World International School. They told about the endeavour being done by Saanjh Kendra and how they support the community. They shared the different helpline numbers related to different problems issued by Saanjh Kendra to the children, so that the children can contact in any case of emergency.  The students were updated on how to make passbooks, the importance of identification of tenants and domestic and work helpers and knowledge about the Aadhar card. They were told that who go abroad must have a police clearance certificate before going there. The students were instructed to be alert to the frauds taking place on WhatsApp, Net Banking, ATMs and other online services. The students were motivated to follow traffic rules and drive in moderate speed limit. They were asked to contact immediately on given helpline numbers to girls for molesting, criminal activities on the street.   A helpline number to commute especially for women was also shared.  Inspector Gurdeep Lal (CPRC), Inspector Surinder Kaur (WHD District Incharge), Constable Reema (PPMM), HC Rajni (PPMM), NGO Jaspreet Kaur (Animal Protection Foundation) were present on the occasion.
