Military Intelligence Ludhiana and Jalandhar police bust Army Recruitment Racket
The accused has been duping many innocent individuals in past with his gang
Ludhiana: In a Joint Operation, Military intelligence Ludhiana and Jalandhar police arrested an individual who was involved in taking money from the candidates and getting their recruitment written examination cleared.
The officials of Military Intelligence Ludhiana informed that the arrested person has been identified as Sandeep Singh of Amritsar. The accused person has been charged for offences under section 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station Kartarpur under Jalandhar Rural police.
The accused used to approach candidates who had cleared their physical examination and used to assure them of passing medical test and written examination. He used to take away the original documents of the candidates before the examination and used to return them after receiving the payment. He used to ask 2.5 - 3 lacs from a candidate and then negotiate.
The accused was also booked earlier under Arms Act 25 and 30 in Jan 2018 in Police Station Sarai Amanat Khan, Dist TaranTaran.
The accused has been duping many innocent individuals in past with his gang. Further investigation is going on.
