Three youths were killed in a road accident near Gohar Adda within jurisdiction of Police Station Dakha in Ludhiana district on the intervening night of December 18 and 19. Police are making investigations on the spot. The bodies of the three youths are also seen in the picture.

Ludhiana, December 19, 2012: Three youths were killed in a road accident near Gohar Adda within jurisdiction of Police Station Dakha in this district on the intervening night of December 18 and 19.
These youths were on their way towards Ludhiana.
The most tragic thing is that the deceased youths were on their way to Ludhiana for donating blood for their accident victim friend. The friend of the deceased youths had sustained injuries in an accident and had been admitted in a local hospital.
They were riding a motorcycle.
The deceased have been identified as Pritam Singh and Iqbal Singh from Atargarh in Barnala district and Govind Singh from Dhanaula village.
The deceased were in their early 20s.
As per the available information, the tragic incident occurred when the motorcycle on which three were travelling rammed into a tree. It is believed that the driver of the bike lost control over it.
Nobody noticed the bodies lying in bushes along the road during the whole night. It was in the early this morning when a passerby witnessed the bodies and informed the police.
