Mission Fateh: Officials of education department visit door to door for making people aware

Ludhiana: Under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government, various officials of school education department visited door to door in their respective areas and educated the masses about ways to save themselves from Covid 19. They also urged the citizens to make Mission Fateh of the Punjab government successful.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Sharma has appealed to the citizens to contribute in making Mission Fateh successful by educating the masses at their own level. He said that the only effective way to save ourselves from this pandemic is awareness.
District Education Officer (Secondary) Mrs Swaranjit Kaur informed that as per the directions of the Punjab government and District Administration, the officials visited door to door to make the masses aware about the ways to keep themselves safe from COVID 19. The students were also urged to take care of their own health as well as of their family members. All the students were urged to download COVA app on their as well as their family member’s mobile phones and should participate in the Mission Fateh contest.
She said that to win the war against COVID 19, people were educated about washing hands repeatedly or use hand sanitiser, staying alert about the entry of outsiders in their premises, tracking patients, maintaining social distancing, using COVA app, importance of home quarantine, fly like symptoms, restrictions, fines, besides several others.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Sharma informed that the Ludhiana residents should understand that they should stay alert from falling prey to COVID 19 as the danger is still there. He urged the citizens to share this information would people close to them.
He said that the under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government, different government departments are education the masses as per the schedule. He said that the Social Security Women and Child Development Department would carry out awareness drive on July 2, Health and Family Welfare Department on July 3, Sports and Youth Services Department on July 4 and by Cooperation Department on July 5. / (July 1)
