MLA Bagga and DC discuss sub-registrar's office, Health and PSPCL projects
Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal held a meeting today to review the on-going projects related to the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, (PSPCL), Health department and establishing a new building for the sub-registrar's office in the constituency.
Ludhiana, January 9, 2025: Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal held a meeting today to review the on-going projects related to the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, (PSPCL), Health department and establishing a new building for the sub-registrar's office in the constituency.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reported that the proposal to establish a sub-registrar's office in Ludhiana North has been forwarded to higher authorities. MLA Madan Lal Bagga suggested using a Municipal Corporation Ludhiana building near Chand Cinema for this purpose. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Municipal Corporation officials to provide the necessary details in this regard and assured that higher officials would be informed.
Additionally, MLA Bagga and DC Jorwal asked PSPCL officials to prepare a proposal for setting up a new 66-kV power grid substation in Jassia village, following a site visit to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply for the residents. The Deputy Commissioner also directed health department officials to deploy security guards at the 30-bedded government hospital for 24 hours. Furthermore, discussions were held to expedite the construction of a new bridge near Chand Cinema.
MLA Bagga and DC Jorwal emphasized that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to the all-around development of Ludhiana. Every effort is being made to ensure the timely completion of these development projects for the benefit of the people.
