MLA Bagga directs officials to expedite development works in Ludhiana North; ensure proper functioning of disposal points

Ludhiana, August 20, 2024: With an aim to expedite development works and to ensure timely draining out of rain water on rainy days, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga conducted a meeting with Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Sandeep Rishi at MC Zone A office on Tuesday. 

During the meeting, MLA Bagga and MC Commissioner Sandeep Rishi directed the concerned officials to expedite the process of floating tenders for new development projects and complete the ongoing works at the earliest. 

MLA  Bagga further directed the officials to conduct inspections to check the quality of development works and take action against the contractors, if any anomalies are found. 

MC Assistant Commissioner Neeraj Jain, Superintending Engineer (SE) Sanjay Kanwar, SE Parveen Singla, CSO Ashwani Sahota, Executive Engineer Ranbir Singh, Executive Engineer Sanjeev Kumar, ATP MS Bedi among other officials were present in the meeting.

Further MLA Bagga directed the officials to ensure proper sanitation and functioning of disposal points for timely draining out of rain water on rainy days. He also directed the officials to streamline all the works and ensure that public should not face any kind of harassment in the constituency as well as in MC offices.

MLA Bagga said that he has been conducting regular field inspections in the constituency and no laxity would be tolerated in terms of development works as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed to overall development of the state.
