MLA Bagga inaugurates sports courts established by transforming the vacant spaces under Lakkar Bridge 

For developing sports culture among children, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga alongwith Municipal Corporation (MC) Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh inaugurated state of art basketball, badminton and volleyball courts under Lakkar bridge near Pavilion mall in Ludhiana North constituency on Tuesday.

Ludhiana, October 22, 2024: For developing sports culture among children, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga alongwith Municipal Corporation (MC) Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh inaugurated state of art basketball, badminton and volleyball courts under Lakkar bridge near Pavilion mall in Ludhiana North constituency on Tuesday.

The vacant spaces under the flyover have been adequately used and two sports courts have been developed for the children to play.

MLA Bagga and MC Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh said that quality sports infrastructure has been developed at a cost of just around Rs 15 lakh.

After inaugurating the sports courts, MLA Bagga and Additional Commissioner Paramdeep Singh also enjoyed a game of badminton. 

MLA Bagga said that their focus is on providing quality infrastructure to the residents. The residents especially the children had been seeking playing area in the past. Fulfilling their demand, this innovative step has been taken to develop sports courts under the flyovers. This way the vacant spaces have also been used adequately and playing area has been developed at a low cost. More such sports courts would be established in the constituency in the coming time.

MLA Bagga said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed to develop quality infrastructure across the state. Speaking of the maintenance of these sports courts, MLA Bagga said that they will form committee including the residents of nearby areas for maintenance of courts, so that children should not face any trouble and the courts are also maintained properly.
