MLA Chhina and DC hold meeting to discuss NHAI,MC and PSPCL projects

Ludhiana, August 23, 2024: Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Friday held a meeting to review the ongoing and upcoming projects of NHAI, MCL and PSPCL.
While taking stock of the physical and fiscal status of projects, MLA Chhina and Deputy Commissioner asked the officials to immediately repair the service lane from the Sherpur Chowk to Giaspura as the strech is causing huge problems to commuters.They stated that NHAI must hold consultations with Municipal Corporation Ludhiana (MCL) before repair work. They also issued directions to MCL to also check the sewerage system on this stretch.
Further, talks were also held regarding road repair work near Dhandari bridge.They also stressed the immediate starting of the 66-kv power grid in Lohara to ensure uninterrupted supply of the electricity to the people.
MLA and DC highlighted that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed for the all-around development of the Ludhiana and every effort is being made to early completion of these development projects to facilitate the people.
