MLA Chhina and MC Chief hold meeting with officials for expediting development works and ensuring cleanliness
For ensuring cleanliness across the constituency and expediting development works, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted a meeting with the concerned officials of civic body at MC Zone C office on Gill road.
Ludhiana, November 18, 2024: For ensuring cleanliness across the constituency and expediting development works, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted a meeting with the concerned officials of civic body at MC Zone C office on Gill road.
During the meeting held on Monday, discussions were held for expediting development works and regarding the steps which can be taken to ensure cleanliness across the constituency.
The civic body officials have been directed to check the attendance of the staff on a daily basis and ensure regular lifting of garbage from static compactor sites and secondary dump sites of the civic body. Building branch officals were directed to take action against illegal constructions especially construction of illegal vehras (labour quarters).
MLA Chhina and MC Commissioner Dachalwal said that the grievances of the public should be resolved at the earliest and no laxity in this context would be tolerated. Further they stated that steps are also being taken to expedite the development works and ensuring cleanliness. For ensuring potable water supply to each and every household, new tubewells are also being installed in different parts of the constituency. They also emphasised on regular cleanling of sewer lines especially in those areas where complaints regarding choked sewer lines are received frequently.
MLA Chhina said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is working for establishing quality infrastructure across the state and large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana South constituency. MC Commissioner Dachalwal directed the officials to complete the ongoing projects at the earliest and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of works.
