MLA Chhina, MC Chief direct officials to speed up development works and take strict action against illegal constructions 

Ludhiana, September 26, 2024: Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted a meeting with the officials of different branches of MC on Thursday and directed the officials to expedite pending and proposed development works in the constituency.

Further directions were also issued to ensure cleanliness and take strict action against illegal constructions especially illegal colonies and labour quarters.

The meeting was held at MC Zone C office on Gill road and MC Joint Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Executive Engineer Ranbir Singh, Executive Engineer Manjitinder Singh Johal among others were present in the meeting. 

MLA Chhina also directed the officials to ensure potable water supply in all areas of the constituency and the works of installing new tubewells in different areas of the constituency should be expedited, so that residents should not face any trouble. Also directions were issued to expedite the work of establishing vending zones in the constituency. 

MLA Chhina and MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal directed the officials to ensure proper sanitation and drives should be conducted to spread awareness among residents regarding solid waste management. Also regular drives should be conducted against illegal constructions.
