Ludhiana, June 22, 2023: In a bid to give a facelift to the Tuition market in Model Town extension, Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi kick started development works worth Rs 41 lakh in the market on Thursday.
Under these projects, municipal authorities will lay premix in the parking area and install interlocking tiles in the corridor and footpath established in the market.
MLA Gogi stated that the market was in bad condition for a long time and he had taken up the matter with municipal authorities after the members of market association approached him in the recent past.
The legislator stated that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed to develop quality infrastructure in the state and a large number of development projects are now being taken up in Ludhiana West constituency.
MLA Gogi said that the Municipal Corporation (MC) officials have been directed to keep a check on the quality of works and complete the project in stipulated time period.
Office bearers of market association including President Gurinder Singh Jolly, Manish Twanti, Harmandeep Singh, Vajinder Singh Chawla, AAP leader Gurkaran Tinna, Naresh Dhingan among others appreciated the efforts put in by MLA Gogi for giving a facelift to the market.
