MLA Grewal, Mayor kick start project to reconstruct streets in Sutantar Nagar; fulfill long pending demand of residents

Ludhiana, February 10, 2025: Stepping forward with an aim to upgrade road infrastructure and fulfilling the long pending demand of residents, Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur inaugurated a project to reconstruct the streets in Sutantar Nagar of ward number 13 on Monday.
Inaugurating the project in presence of the area residents, MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur stated that the residents of the area have been suffering due to potholed roads for decades, as the traditional parties failed to address the problem.
Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said that the residents will receive a major relief after the completion of this project which is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 36.45 lakh.
MC Zonal Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Superintending Engineer Parveen Singla among other officials were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working for overall development of the state.
Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur said that the focus of the civic body is on overall sustainable development and to keep the city clean and green. A large number of development projects are being taken up by the civic body and the residents should also support the authorities in making Ludhiana - number 1 city.
