MLA Prashar and members of International Volunteer organisation -ASEZ WAO take up cleanliness drive for spreading awareness among residents
Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and members of international volunteer organisation -ASEZ WAO organised a cleanliness drive near Baba Thaan Singh chowk on Sunday.

Ludhiana, March 23: Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi and members of international volunteer organisation -ASEZ WAO organised a cleanliness drive near Baba Thaan Singh chowk on Sunday.
Students among other members of the volunteer organisation participated in the drive which continued till Division number 3 police station chowk.
Appreciating the members of the organisation especially the students, MLA Prashar said that the aim was to spread awareness among the residents.
The volunteers stated that their organisation has been working to spread awareness among the residents across the globe. The motive is to work at the ground level and urge the residents to keep the surroundings and environment clean.
MLA Prashar and volunteers urged the residents to perform their duties and help the authorities in keeping the city clean and green. The residents were urged to stop dumping waste in open areas and hand over segregated waste to the waste collectors.
Meanwhile, MLA Prashar said that Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is committed for sustainable development and for ensuring clean environment for coming generations.
