Further the legislator directed the officials to regularly clean the sewer lines and road gullies to avoid water logging.

He stated that all efforts are being made to avoid water logging especially in the low lying areas of the city during the monsoon season. The legislator also appealed to the residents to take up plantation drives in their surrounding areas during the monsoon season.

MLA Prashar also appealed to the residents to stop dumping waste/garbage/plastic in open areas as these things choke the sewer system, which ultimately results in waterlogging.
