MLA Prashar inaugurates development projects worth Rs 1.13 crore
Moving forward to improve water supply infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated four more projects worth around Rs 1.13 crore to install new water supply lines and tubewells in different wards of the constituency on Tuesday.
Ludhiana, March 12, 2024: Moving forward to improve water supply infrastructure, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated four more projects worth around Rs 1.13 crore to install new water supply lines and tubewells in different wards of the constituency on Tuesday.
MLA Prashar kick started the projects to install new water supply lines in Qila Mohalla and in Kohlu Wali gali near old sabzi mandi. The projects are being taken at a cost of around Rs 96 lakh.
Further, the legislator inaugurated a newly installed tubewell outside the old fire brigade building on GT road and kick started the work to install the other tubewell in street number 12 of Shivaji Nagar. The total cost of these two projects is around Rs 17 lakh.
MLA Prashar said that the projects have been inaugurated to streamline the supply of potable water and the authorities have been directed to complete the project as soon as possible.
MLA Prashar further stated that Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government is committed to the overall development of the state. He further stated that a large number of development projects are being taken up in Ludhiana Central constituency to develop quality infrastructure and projects worth Rs 2.84 crore were also kick started in different wards of the constituency on Monday. More such projects would be inaugurated in the coming days.
SDO Baljinder Singh, Manjit Singh Harman, Somnath Sood, Inderjit Singh Tiwana, Tarunjeet Singh Prince, Gagandeep Singh Johny, Jasbir Singh Chadha, Kashish Chadha, Iqbal Singh among others were also present during the inauguration ceremonies.
