MLA Prashar inaugurates projects worth around Rs 1.88 crore to construct street vending zone, redevelop central verges and parks
With an aim to facilitate the residents at large, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated various projects worth around Rs 1.88 crore to construct street vending zone, redevelop central verges and parks in different parts of the constituency on Sunday.

Ludhiana, November 17, 2024: With an aim to facilitate the residents at large, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated various projects worth around Rs 1.88 crore to construct street vending zone, redevelop central verges and parks in different parts of the constituency on Sunday.
Firstly, MLA Prashar inaugurated the project to establish street vending zone near Children park (old ward number 54 and new ward number 78) situated at the backside of civil hospital. The street vending zone would be established at a cost of around Rs 47 lakhs.
Further he inaugurated the project to redevelop central verges from Cheema chowk to Suffian chowk (old ward number 20 and new ward number 30), Janakpuri (old ward number 53 and new ward number 80) and adjoining areas at a cost of around Rs 92 lakhs.
Later MLA Prashar inaugurated the project to renovate Trikona park, Pardhan park and Guru Teg Bahadur park in ward number 51 at a cost of around Rs 49 lakhs.
MLA Prashar said that establishment of street vending zone will not only benefit the street vendors, but it will also help in streamlining the movement of traffic in the area.
Further MLA Prashar said that a large number of projects are being taken up in central constituency for developing quality infrastructure. He had inaugurated projects worth around Rs 1.16 crore on Saturday and projects worth around Rs 1.88 crore have been inaugurated on Sunday.
MLA Prashar said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is committed for overall development of the state and more projects would be inaugurated in Central constituency in the coming days.
