MLA Prashar inaugurates projects worth Rs 76 lakhs for repair of damaged poles and installation of new street lights 

For illuminating the dark spots and for ensuring safety of residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated projects worth around Rs 76 lakh for repair of damaged street light poles and installation of new LED street lights on Saturday.

Ludhiana, August 31, 2024: For illuminating the dark spots and for ensuring safety of residents, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated projects worth around Rs 76 lakh for repair of damaged street light poles and installation of new LED street lights on Saturday.

The projects were kick started from Gill road on Saturday. 

MLA Prashar stated that under these projects, around 40 lakhs would be spent on repair of damaged and missing street lights poles, installation of cables etc.
Meanwhile, around Rs 36 lakh would be spent on installation of new LED street lights at dark patches where lights are missing. 

MLA Prashar said that he has been getting feedback from the residents and efforts are being made to resolve all the issues which are being faced at the ground level. With these projects, the dark points in the constitiency would be illuminated for ensuring safety of residents. 

MLA Prashar further stated that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led state government is leaving no stone unturned and every effort is being made for overall development of the state. Their focus is on sustainable development.

Manjit Singh, Satish Kumar, Somnath Sood, Vijay Maurya, Johny Verma, Vikram Partap among others were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
