MLA Sidhu, MC Chief direct officials to ensure cleanliness, potable water supply and expedite development works
Keeping public issues on priority, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal directed the civic body officials to ensure cleanliness and potable water supply to the residents across the constituency.
Ludhiana, November 14, 2024: Keeping public issues on priority, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal directed the civic body officials to ensure cleanliness and potable water supply to the residents across the constituency.
Further the officials have also been directed to expedite the development works and ensure that there is no compromise with the quality of the development works.
The directions were issued during a meeting held at MC Zone C office on Gill road on Thursday. Joint Commissioner-cum-Zonal Commissioner (Zone D) Abhishek Sharma, Assistant Commissioner-cum-Zonal Commissioner (Zone C) Gurpal Singh, Chief Engineer Ravinder Garg, Superintending Engineer Sham Lal Gupta, Executive Engineers Rakesh Singla, Jatinderpal Singh, ATP Mohan Singh among other officials were present in the meeting.
Directing the officials to ensure cleanliness and check the attendance of the sweepers on a daily basis, MLA Sidhu and MC Commissioner Dachalwal directed the officials that the horticulture waste should also be removed from the parks and green belts regularly.
MLA Sidhu said that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is committed to overall development of the state and projects worth crores are being taken up in Atam Nagar constituency. He directed the concerned officials that the grievances submitted by the public should be resolved at the earliest. There should be no delay in taking up repair works if any complaint is submitted regarding contaminated water supply and permanent solution should be provided.
MLA Sidhu and Dachalwal further directed the officials to move to the field for expediting the development works and for ensuring cleanliness across the constituency.
