MLA Surinder Kumar Dawar inaugurates two open air gyms in ward no. 52 - motivates youths to remain be fit for nation building

Ludhiana, December 23, 2021: In order to make youth of Ludhiana fit and healthy and to keep them away from the menace of drugs, Ludhiana Central MLA Surinder Kumar Dawar inaugurated two open air gyms in Mustaq Ganj and Amarpura areas of of ward number 52.
People of the localities, young and old alike, were all enthused about the inauguration and applauded Mr Dawar as he arrived to inaugurate the gyms. While dedicating the gymnasium to the youth of Punjab, Mr Dawar said that the future of the society stands on the shoulders of the youth of today. “Youths should own the responsibility of building a good future. For doing so, youths must be fit and healthy to take Punjab many leaps ahead. So you all should use this gym facility to remain fit and serve your parents, society and the world at large,” he said.
Mr Dawar added that giving the youth facilities to remain mentally and physically fit is the best antidote to several health problems as well as drug addition.
People of all ages were excited to try their hands on the machines installed in the parks. Several residents said that they were motivated to start their fitness routine. “We are thankful to Dawar Saab to have especially come to motivate us. Seeing his tireless efforts for the constituency, we must take his word about fitness and nation building seriously. His hard work is a motivation for all,” a resident said.
Councillor Gurdeep Singh, Ajit Singh, Satnam Singh, Amarjit Singh, Bimal Chhabra, Sunil Arya, Satinder Pal Singh, Ramesh Goyal, Ramesh Malhotra, amongst others were present on the occasion.
Prior to that, continuing the transformation of the constituency through re-carpeting of the roads as well, Mr Dawar inaugurated a road project in Shankarpuri area of ward number 59. The Rs 51.87 lakh project would see rejuvenation of the road network in the locality.
