They slowly starting gaining traction and received around 300 orders a day. The company has received funding from investors as well and starting operations in Jalandhar, Chandigarh and Amritsar as well a while back.
Since the entire country is in lockdown, HumHain team is working round the clock, 24 hours to ensure smooth deliveries of essentials like grocery and medicines to people at their home. Speaking on the same, Milind Kwatra said, “We are playing our part to make sure that lockdown due to Covid-19 is followed properly and people do not have to move out of their homes for essentials. Most importantly we do not take any profit commissions but only charging for the delivery fees. Right now we are delivering around 1500 orders per day and ramping up manpower to deliver upto 5000 orders a day to meet up the surging demand. Our delivery staff is wearing masks and gloves and following social distancing measures and sanitization to ensure deliveries are done in a proper hygiene environment.”
