Ludhiana, August 6, 2018: For educating the masses about staying away from Dengue fever, a special mobile van was flagged off by Civil Surgeon Dr Parvinderpal Singh Sidhu from his office today. This van passed through various parts of the city such as some high risk areas in Haibowal Kalan, Jalandhar Byepass, Peeru Banda Road, Salem Tabri, Bahadurke Road, Dana Mandi, Kakowal, Rahon Road, Tibba Road, Samrala Chowk, Sherpur Chowk, Dholewal, Bus Stand, Jawahar Nagar Camp, Dugri, Model Town etc.
A documentary showing ways in which people can save themselves from Dengue fever was also shown, besides posters and pamphlets were also distributed. On this occasion, Dr Ramesh Kumar, District Epidemiologist and officials from other departments also participated.
