Mock exercise on Chemical Disaster to take place in Verka milk plant tomorrow
People must not get panicked, emergency sirens to be sounded at 9.30 am

Ludhiana, March 5, 2025: A state-level mock exercise on Chemical Disaster would be held at Verka Milk plant on Ferozepur road, on Thursday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Rohit Gupta urged the public to not get panicked during the conduct of the mock exercise at Verka Plant. The emergency sirens will be sounded at 9.30 am. He sought co-operation from the public for the smooth completion of mock exercise.
The mock exercise is being organised by State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and different departments including the team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDFR), district administration, Municipal Corporation, police, fire brigade, health department etc.
