Modi fulfill its promises with defence personnel by implementing OROP: Kamal Sharma

Chandigarh, September 5, 2015: With Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi accepting the decades long demand of implementing the 'One Rank One Pension', the PM has not only taken a historic decision but also spread the message that defence forces falls in the category of esteem honour for every countrymen. Expressing these views in a press release issued from the party's state headquarters here, the State BJP President Shri Kamal Sharma said that it was matter of immense happiness that the persistent efforts made by PM Shri Narendra Modi and the Union Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar to give defence personnel their due has finally seen the light of the day. Shri Sharma said that the said decision would not only boost the morale of the defence but would also help attract the youth towards joining armed forces and make a bright career. Shri Sharma also said that before the Lok Sabha elections, Shri Modi, while addressing a rally of the retired defence personnel in Haryana had assured to implement OROP if BJP comes to power and today PM has fulfilled his promise.
