A mohalla in Amritsar parliamentary constituency without youths: Capt Amarinder

Samrala/Khanna, July 13, 2015: Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh has demanded free hand for State police to control the menace of drugs in the state. 
Addressing a big gathering of Congress workers organised by MLA Samrala Amrik Singh Dhillon at grain market Samrala today, he added the menace of Ice Drug, Smack and Heroine had finished a generation of the youths of the state in the last nine years of the Badal Government and it is utmost need to finish this trade for the welfare of the youths of the state. He mentioned an area of his Amritsar Constituency where a mohalla is without youths as the youths had died due to drugs and there are widows in all almost all houses. 
While attacking the campaign of state against drugs only an eye wash he said that only drug users are being caught and sent to jails while big fishes are working without any fear. Capt dared the Badals to hand over him the state for a week to finish drugs in a week by brooming. He said that unemployment is the biggest problem of the state and Badal Government had failed to give jobs to unemployment youths and had even closed mega projects brought by congress government nine years ago.
He also spoke in detail about the rampant corruption prevailing under regime of the Badal government.
Capt dared Badals to choose between business or rule in the state.
He flayed the claims of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal that more Congress MLAs or big leaders can join Akali Dal and said that some Akali Dal leaders are keen to join the Congress at appropriate time in the future.
Capt also attacked AAP and said that AAP had failed to fulfill promises in Delhi and appealed people of Punjab to beware from such parties and to strengthen Congress for the betterment of the state.
