Most Emerging University in Robotics Education Bagged by GNA University
GNA University, Phagwara, Punjab has been awarded as the most emerging University in Robotics Education during the INDIA STEM Summit & Awards 23 (India’s largest STEM Education Conference) at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi. The Chief Guest for the event was Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of Bharat. The event was also graced by Jagadish Mamidala-Chairman UGC, TG Sitharam-Chairman AICTE, Rajkumar Sharma, President AICRA and V. K. Saraswat-member Niti Aayog and ISRO Women Scientist Team. ISRO Scientists Team also shared the journey of Chandrayaan 3 preparation in this event. The event also had the presence of representatives of various Universities, colleges, schools and startups.

GNA University achieved this award for its Excellence in Robotics Education and Training. In this category, many universities, colleges, start-ups and training institutes participated. GNA University provides the best practical infrastructure for Robotic and Automation systems where students learn and implement various new concepts related to Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things, Autonomous vehicles, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Industrial Automation, CAD/CAM,3D Printing Technology and other robotics applications and develop new projects required in modern industries.
Dr. CR Tripathy, Dean-School of Engineering, Design and Automation and Yogesh Thakur, Placement Officer from GNA University received the award at the end of Jagadish Mamidala-Chairman UGC, TG Sitharam-Chairman AICTE, Rajkumar Sharma, President AICRA, and V. K. Saraswat-member Niti Aayog.
During the Summit Dr. CR Tripathy delivered an enthralling speech about the latest technologies used in modern industries and curriculum adopted in GNA University. He showcased the placement of GNA students in Global industries. He also pressed upon Industry-Academia collaboration which is already a part of GNA University.

Dr. CR Tripathy and Ceena Sunil, Scientist G, ISRO also discussed the future and opportunities for Robotics/Mechanical engineering for the upcoming technology. The representatives also showed their gratitude and word of thanks to S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Chancellor of GNA University and CEO of GNA Gears Ltd., Punjab for his consistent perseverance and valuable contributions to imparting quality education as per the global industry needs.
