MoU signed between Avon Cycles Limited and QCI 

Ludhiana, September 6, 2024: Avon Cycles Limited and QCI has signed an MOU in the presence of JMD, Rishi Pahwa, Avon Cycles Limited and Dr. Ramanand N. Shukla, Sr. Director & Head ZED Division & Dr. Mahavir Tiwari, Deputy Director. 

Ankur Malik, Assistant Director, (Lean Team), Ahmed Belal, Analyst (Lean Team) and Shankar Sharma, Senior Consultant, Lean Ministry of MSME and Dr. Deepak Jain, AVP, Corporate Office were also present on the MOU signing Ceremony. 

On the occasion, Rishi Pahwa, JMD, Avon Cycles Limited shared that (ZED) Certification and Lean Scheme are an extensive drive to create awareness amongst MSMEs about Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices and motivate & incentivise them for ZED Certification while also encouraging them to become MSME Champions.

As per the MoU, the Quality Council of India will assist Avon Cycles Limited and its Vendors in various activities including training to enhance the quality of products and improve their productivity through Implementation of Lean Scheme

On this occasion, Dr. Ramanand N. Shukla, Sr. Director & Head ZED Division, QCI said that “It is a proud moment to partner with Avon Cycles Limited to enhance the quality of products. He further said that today when we are working towards achieving the goal of a developed India, this collaboration will definitely contribute in paving the way for greater global recognition.
