Ludhiana, July 31, 2023: MP (Rajya Sabha) from Ludhiana Sanjeev Arora met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.


Arora was accompanied by his family members including wife, son, daughter, daughter in law, son in law and grandchildren.
 

The PM got acquainted with all the family members.


“This was a courtesy call”, said Arora, adding that the Prime Minister gave enough time to discuss various issues including health and textiles.  


PM discussed in detail on steps being taken to make TB free India. Arora promised to take up TB issues at all levels possible. Arora is also a Member of Parliamentary Committee on Health & Family Welfare.


Arora said his stress was that the government should ensure affordable healthcare to everyone, especially the poor section of the society.  Arora briefed PM on steps being taken by him in helping poor to get affordable health care especially in Cancer treatment.
   

Arora said the meeting was held in a total cordial atmosphere and the Prime Minister even had a jovial chat with his grandchildren and gifted them with chocolates.


Whole family thanked the Prime Minister for the courteous meeting. The children were seen cheerful after getting chocolates from the Prime Minister.
