MP Arora condole death of popular Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda
Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora who is also the vice-president of the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Managing Society, has expressed his deep condolence on the death of popular Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda who passed away on Wednesday.
Ludhiana, July 26, 2023: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora who is also the vice-president of the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Managing Society, has expressed his deep condolence on the death of popular Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda who passed away on Wednesday.
Shinda was undergoing treatment at DMCH, Ludhiana where he died this morning.
In a statement here, Arora said Shinda was brought to DMCH from another private hospital a few days and since then he was admitted in ICU as his condition was serious. He added 64-years-old Punjabi singer had been on ventilator.
Adding, Arora said medical staff at DMCH, Ludhiana has made every possible effort to save life of Surinder Shinda but these efforts did not work before the Supreme power.
Arora expressed his sympathies with the grief-stricken family of the deceased Punjabi singer and recalled his hit songs such as ‘Jatt Jeona Morh’, ‘Putt Jattan de’ and ‘Yaaran Da Truck Balliye’. The deceased singer had also appeared in Punjabi films such as ‘Putt Jattan De’ and ‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’, he further recalled.
He said the deceased singer will always be known for his remarkable singing, adding that Shinda who hailed from Chhoti Ayali village in Ludhiana gave name and fame not only to his village and Ludhiana but also to whole of Punjab across the world.
