Ludhiana, April 28, 2025: In an innovative approach to connect directly with the residents of Ludhiana West, Member of Parliament and AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora has been organizing daily breakfast meetings at different locations across the constituency. These informal gatherings aim to foster open dialogue, hear the concerns of locals, and strengthen grassroots-level engagement ahead of the upcoming elections.
The initiative, which started earlier in March, has received an overwhelming response from the public. Each morning, a different ward or locality is chosen, where Arora meets a cross-section of voters — from traders and industrialists to homemakers, youth, and senior citizens, municipal coucnillors, the party leaders and others — over a simple breakfast. The discussions cover a wide range of issues, including infrastructure development, employment opportunities, education reforms, and healthcare services.
Speaking at these meetings, Arora emphasized the importance of direct communication with the people. "Politics should not just happen from offices and stages; it should happen over shared meals and shared concerns," said Arora. "These breakfast meetings are not about speeches — they are about listening, understanding, and building trust."
Residents have praised the move, appreciating the accessibility and openness it brings to political campaigning. Many attendees expressed that it was refreshing to see a leader dedicating personal time daily to understand ground realities rather than relying solely on political rallies or advertisements.
Arora, who has positioned himself as a progressive voice within the Aam Aadmi Party, reiterated his commitment to development-driven politics. "Ludhiana West deserves leadership that listens every day, not just during elections," he added. He assured the attendees that their feedback would directly shape his roadmap for the constituency’s future.
As the election season heats up, Arora’s breakfast meetings have not only boosted his visibility but also showcased a model of participative politics, setting a new benchmark in voter engagement for the constituency.
