MP Arora Inaugurates ₹1 Crore Beautification Project at Feroze Gandhi Market

Ludhiana, March 27, 2025: MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora along with Ludhiana Improvement Trust Chairman Bhinder inaugurated beautification work of Feroze Gandhi Market here on Thursday.
In his inaugural address, Arora said there was a long-pending demand of the shopkeepers for carrying out this work. Now, the work has been started and it will be completed by April-end. The work will cost Rs.1 Crore.
Arora said the beautification work includes tiles work, horticulture work and installation of high-mast lights. He asked the officials concerned to ensure quality work & timely completion.
On the occasion, the shopkeepers demanded the setting up of a multi-level parking in a nearby vacant plot of the GLADA. The shopkeepers opined that a plot measuring 2 acres will be sufficient for the multi-story parking. Arora said he will look into the demand.
Arora said the state government under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to bring overall development.
Among others, Ludhiana Improvement Trust chairman Tarsem Singh Bhinder and Area Councilor Kapil Kumar Sonu were present.
