MP asks Distt Admn to be more sensitive towards Gastro patients

Ludhiana, September 14: Ludhiana MP and the National Spokesperson of the Congress Manish Tewari today asked the district administration and the health authorities to be more sensitive and responsive towards the gastro patients.

Tewari, during his visit to the different parts of the city today, also went to see the patients admitted in the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. While appreciating the concern and care shown by the management of the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, he regretted that the district administration had not been as sensitive and responsive as it should have been

He regretted that the health department and the municipal corporation have not taken any precautionary measures. He said, they do not even seem to have learnt from the past experiences as the spread of gastro during the rainy season has become a routine.

Tewari was accompanied by District Congress Committee president Pawan Dewan, Baljinder Singh Bunty, Sushil Malhotra, Harpartap Singh Sidhu, Inderjit Tony Kapoor and others.
